Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our team as a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Accounts & Export Compliance. The role requires strong hands-on experience in accounting, export documentation, and statutory compliance within an export-oriented business.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing export compliance, coordinating with banks and auditors, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with Indian regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting and export compliance processes
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of books of accounts
- Handle coordination with banks, auditors, and CA firms
- Monitor compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and compliance reviews
- Support management with financial insights and reporting
Export & Banking Compliance Responsibilities
- Handle export documentation including invoices, shipping bills, and related records
- Track export proceeds and ensure timely realization as per regulatory timelines
- Coordinate with banks for Bank Realisation Certificates (BRCs) and related documentation
- Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations related to exports
- Monitor export outstanding statements and follow up for pending realizations
- Liaise with Authorized Dealer (AD) banks for export-related queries and compliance
GST & Taxation Responsibilities
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and on time
- Manage GST reconciliation with books and returns
- Handle export-related GST matters including LUT filings and IGST refunds
- Ensure proper classification and documentation for zero-rated supplies
- Manage TDS compliance including calculation, deduction, payment, and return filing
- Stay updated on applicable tax regulations and ensure compliance
Accounting & Financial Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts in accounting software (Tally/ERP systems)
- Perform bank, debtor, creditor, and general ledger reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable, including export receivables tracking
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and MIS reports
- Ensure proper accounting of export transactions and foreign currency entries
- Monitor cash flow and working capital related to export operations
Compliance & Audit Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to statutory compliance requirements under applicable laws
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Coordinate with auditors and CA firms for audits and filings
- Maintain proper records for GST, income tax, and export compliance audits
- Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of export compliance, FEMA regulations, and banking procedures
- Hands-on experience in GST filings, reconciliation, and export refunds
- Working knowledge of TDS and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or ERP systems
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Experience
- Experience in an export-oriented company
- Exposure to handling BRCs, export proceeds tracking, and AD bank coordination
- Experience working with CA firms and handling audits independently
- Familiarity with multi-currency accounting and export documentation workflows

Compensation Range
₹5 – ₹7 LPA (based on experience and expertise)
