- Surveillance & Data Analysis: Continually track infection data, culture reports, and outbreaks to detect trends early.
- Policy Enforcement: Supervise staff on biomedical waste management, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and aseptic techniques.
- Education & Audits: Lead orientation for new staff, conduct ongoing training, and perform regular environmental and clinical audits.
- Compliance: Maintain manuals, exposure control plans, and reportable disease data required by regulatory agencies.
