Position: Sales Manager – Air Compressor Division
Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Director / Business Head
Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth of industrial air compressors, compressed air systems, air dryers, filters, air receivers, and related services. The role involves leading the sales team, developing key accounts, expanding market share, achieving revenue targets, and building long-term customer relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share.
- Generate new business opportunities across manufacturing, automotive, engineering, pharmaceutical, food processing, and other industrial sectors.
- Identify and develop key accounts and strategic customers.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
Team Management
- Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching and support.
- Set sales targets and review performance periodically.
- Ensure effective territory management and customer coverage.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and OEMs.
- Handle major customer negotiations and contract discussions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Commercial & Operational Coordination
- Review and approve techno-commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with service, application, and operations teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor order processing, delivery schedules, and customer commitments.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Market Intelligence
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Identify new market opportunities and product applications.
- Provide regular market feedback to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing or Sales Management preferred.
Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in industrial sales.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in air compressors, compressed air systems, industrial equipment, capital goods, pumps, blowers, or related engineering products preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Sound technical knowledge of compressed air systems.
- Strong business development and key account management capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and customer accounts.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
