Commercial Project Manager (EPC Projects)
Location: Gujarat, India (Project Site)
Reports To: Head of Commercial / Project Manager
Position Summary
Kelington Engineering India is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee the commercial management of an EPC project from contract award through project close-out. The successful candidate will be responsible for contract administration, commercial risk management, cost control, claims, variations, procurement, and ensuring project profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer EPC/main contracts and subcontract agreements.
- Manage contract compliance, commercial correspondence, and contractual notices.
- Prepare, negotiate, and resolve claims, including EOT, variation orders, and additional cost claims.
- Identify, price, negotiate, and manage project variations.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, costs, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Support procurement activities, purchase order administration, and subcontract management.
- Review payment applications and support client billing and commercial reporting.
- Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on commercial matters.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as RICS, AIQS, SISV, APQS, or equivalent are an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of commercial management experience in EPC, industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centre, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in:
- Contract Administration
- Claims & Variation Management
- Cost Control & Budget Management
- Procurement & Subcontract Management
- Experience with FIDIC, NEC, PSSCOC, or bespoke EPC contracts is preferred.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
