Position: Tandoor Chef

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Tandoor Chef to prepare high-quality tandoori dishes while maintaining food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards. The candidate should have expertise in operating a tandoor oven and preparing a variety of Indian tandoori specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook tandoori dishes such as kebabs, tikkas, tandoori chicken, naan, roti, and other breads.
Marinate meats, seafood, and vegetables according to recipes.
Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently.
Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality of all dishes.
Monitor food stock levels and inform management of requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tandoor section.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Minimize food wastage and control portion sizes.
Assist with menu development and new tandoori dishes when required.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef.
Strong knowledge of Indian tandoori cuisine.
Ability to handle high-volume kitchen operations.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
