Job Title: Manager HR (Plant HR)
Location: Udumalpet ( Accommodation will be provided by the company ) Industry: Spinning / Textile Manufacturing
1. Purpose of the Role
To lead and manage all Plant HR and Administrative functions, ensuring effective manpower management, statutory compliance, employee welfare, and smooth day-to-day factory operations in alignment with organizational objectives.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Manpower Planning & Recruitment
· Plan and execute manpower requirements for the plant (operators, helpers, staff).
· Source candidates through local networks, agents, and consultants.
· Ensure timely hiring to meet production targets.
· Manage onboarding and deployment of employees.
· Track and control manpower budgets and hiring costs.
· Build and maintain a strong pipeline of blue-collar workforce.
· Ensure proper documentation and joining formalities for all new hires.
· Monitor attrition trends and implement retention strategies.
· Develop vendor/agent network for continuous manpower supply.
2.2 Employee Relations & Welfare
· Maintain healthy employee relations across all levels.
· Address employee grievances promptly and effectively.
· Implement welfare initiatives including accommodation, medical support, and engagement activities.
· Ensure discipline and adherence to company policies.
2.3 Hostel Administration
· Oversee hostel facilities for workers (especially women employees).
· Ensure safety, hygiene, and proper facilities in hostels.
· Coordinate with wardens and manage occupancy, allocation, and discipline.
· Monitor food quality and hygiene standards in hostels.
· Ensure availability of basic amenities such as water, electricity, and security.
· Maintain hostel records including occupancy and movement registers.
· Address grievances related to hostel facilities.
· Conduct periodic inspections of hostel premises.
· Ensure compliance with safety norms and local regulations.
2.4 Statutory Compliance
· Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and factory regulations.
· Maintain statutory records and registers (PF, ESI, Factory Act, CLRA, etc.).
· Coordinate inspections and audits by government authorities.
· Liaise with consultants and ensure timely filings and returns.
2.5 Contract Labour Management
· Handle end-to-end contract labor management.
· Ensure contractor compliance with statutory norms.
· Monitor attendance, billing, and workforce deployment.
2.6 Administration
· Oversee plant administration functions including:
- Security management
- Canteen operations
- Transport management
· Ensure cost control and service quality in all admin functions.
· Monitor security systems, gate control, and visitor management.
· Ensure quality, hygiene, and cost efficiency in canteen operations.
· Manage transport schedules and ensure timely movement of employees.
· Handle facility management including housekeeping and maintenance.
· Monitor vendor performance and service level agreements.
· Ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements in admin areas.
Preferred candidate profile
· Candidate with MBA - HR and Relevant specialization is preferable with textile industry back round experience.
· Candidates Should have relevant experience of 15 to 18 years.
· Experience as a Plant / Unit HR handling the HR core functions, Experience in Manpower planning & recruitment, payroll management, Statutory and compliance management.
· Experience in Administration (Plant, Security, transport and Hostel)
· Contract labour Management.

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
