Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled carpenter to join our interior design team at Ohm Decors. The role includes factory carpentry work, site installation, measurements, assembly, and finishing for residential interior projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in modular furniture, site carpentry, and quality finishing.
Responsibilities
- Take accurate site measurements.
- Read drawings, sketches, and basic work instructions.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and install wooden and modular furniture components.
- Work on wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, shutters, lofts, paneling, and other interior carpentry items.
- Support factory production and site installation as required.
- Ensure proper alignment, finish, and fitting quality.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Coordinate with supervisors, designers, and site teams.
- Handle minor site corrections, touch-ups, and rework when needed.
- Maintain tools, materials, and work area properly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a carpenter in interior or furniture work.
- Experience in factory work, site work, or both.
- Ability to read measurements and follow drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of plywood, MDF, laminate, hardware, and fitting methods.
- Good finishing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and willing to travel to project sites.
- Prior experience in modular interiors is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Modular kitchen and wardrobe installation.
- Furniture assembly and dismantling.
- Panel fixing and shutter alignment.
- Knowledge of machines and carpentry tools.
- Understanding of site coordination and installation sequences.
Salary
- Based on experience and skill.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
