Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics, and can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for digital platforms. You'll collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to produce videos that align with our brand and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Edit videos for social media, YouTube, websites, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
- Assemble raw footage into polished, engaging content.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, text, music, sound effects, and color correction.
- Ensure videos meet brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators to develop compelling visual stories.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Organize and maintain video assets and project files.
- Stay current with video editing trends, techniques, and platform best practices.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience editing short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and long-form videos.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Portfolio showcasing previous video editing work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating motion graphics and animations.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Familiarity with camera workflows, codecs, and video formats.
- Experience working in a fast-paced marketing or creative agency environment.
