Role Overview
The position involves full-cycle sales activities from prospecting to demo delivery and deal closing for smaller accounts, using phone, email, LinkedIn, and virtual tools. Reps prioritize high-volume lead gen in CPaaS, such as identifying needs for scalable messaging or omnichannel comms, while logging activities in CRM for pipeline visibility. Performance tracking shall be on metrics like connect rates, qualified opportunities created, and conversion to SQLs (sales-qualified leads).
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate leads via cold calling, networking and social selling to build a robust pipeline of CPaaS prospects across target markets
- Qualify leads, conduct discovery calls and schedule product demos showcasing API features.
- Deliver virtual demos, handle objections, negotiate commercial terms, and close smaller deals while escalating complex ones to account reps.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline progression, and provide feedback on lead quality to refine targeting.
- Meet daily/weekly quotas for dials, emails, meetings booked, and opportunities created.
Required Skills
- Strong outbound prospecting and lead qualification using tools.
- Proficiency in consultative solutions selling
- Proficiency in CRM systems, demo tools and basic tech knowledge for technical conversations.
- Resilience for high rejection rates, excellent verbal/written communication, and active listening to build virtual rapport.
- Analytical skills to prioritize leads by ICP (ideal customer profile) and forecast personal pipeline health.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years in inside sales or BDR roles, preferably in SaaS, CPaaS, or tech with proven quota attainment.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies like SPIN or BANT for lead qualification.
- Tech-savvy with comfort navigating APIs, SDKs, and remote selling platforms

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
