Job Title: KST Supervisor
Location: Bommasandra, Bangalore
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality standards, manage kitchen staff, and maintain hygiene and safety compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and experience in hospitality, catering, institutional kitchens, or food service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor food preparation, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Manage kitchen staff schedules, attendance, and task allocation.
- Train and guide kitchen staff on SOPs, food handling, and safety practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of kitchen supplies.
- Reduce food wastage and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with chefs, service staff, and management to ensure timely meal service.
- Maintain records related to stock, temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Senior Cook, or similar role.
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, catering companies, corporate cafeterias, hospitals, or institutional kitchens.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to manage and supervise kitchen staff effectively.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
