We are looking for a skilled F5 WAF L2 Engineer to manage and secure web applications using F5 Networks technologies. The candidate will be responsible for handling L2-level troubleshooting, WAF policy management, and ensuring protection against web-based attacks.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support Web Application Firewall (WAF) using F5 Advanced WAF / BIG-IP ASM
Perform L2 troubleshooting for WAF-related incidents and escalations
Analyze logs and investigate security alerts, attacks, and anomalie
Fine-tune WAF policies to reduce false positives/negatives
Implement and maintain security rules, signatures, and policies
Work closely with application and network teams for issue resolution
Monitor traffic and ensure application availability and security
Handle incident response and provide timely resolutions
Required Skills
Strong experience with F5 BIG-IP (ASM / AWAF)
Knowledge of WAF concepts & OWASP Top 10
Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, and networking basics
Experience in log analysis and troubleshooting
Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, etc.)
Ability to handle L2 escalations independently
Akamai WAF preferred
Good to Have
Experience with NGINX or API security
Knowledge of DDoS protection & bot mitigation
Certifications in F5 or network security
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
