As the Assistant manager- PR in Mumbai , your role involves serving as the primary contact for client activities in Mumbai region along with driving media relations. Your responsibilities include ensuring smooth coordination with client teams, building and managing a local PR team, acquiring new clients, and nurturing existing relationships. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong media relations, developing communication materials, providing operational support, and representing the organization in meetings.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary point of contact for client-related activities in Mumbai - Build and manage a strong local PR team, Focus on expanding the client base by identifying new business opportunities- Build and leverage strong media relationships in the Mumbai market- Prepare and manage professional communication materials- Provide operational support to other teams when needed- Represent the organization in client and stakeholder meetings locally
Qualifications - MA in Mass communication Or MBA
Skills Required:- Proven experience in PR, client servicing, media relations, and team management- Good understanding of the local media landscape in Mumbai - Strong communication and writing skills- Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment- Willingness to travel occasionally- Strong work ethic and ability to work onsite- Basic understanding of digital and traditional PR practices is a plus
