Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding distribution, and enhancing brand visibility for the Company’s portfolio within the assigned territory. The incumbent will lead distributor management, develop key accounts, execute trade marketing initiatives, and ensure the achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors to maximize market penetration and product availability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, retailers, and trade partners.
- Plan and execute sales promotions, merchandising activities, and market development initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and monitor the performance of the field sales team.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance to identify growth opportunities and formulate action plans.
- Prepare timely sales reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of progressive sales experience, with mandatory experience in the alcoholic beverage (Alco-Bev) industry.
- Demonstrated success in distributor management, team leadership, and target achievement.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting systems.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, target-driven environment and travel as required.
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
