Key Responsibilities:
- Sample Testing:
- Perform routine analysis of raw materials, bulk, in-process, and finished goods using established SOPs and analytical techniques.
- Microbiological Testing:
Conduct microbial limit tests on products, water, and environmental samples (if microbiology is part of QC).Accurately document all test results and maintain records in compliance with GMP and regulatory guidelines.Participate in stability testing programs for new and existing products.Calibrate, operate, and maintain analytical instruments like pH meters, viscometers, HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, etc.Assist in the investigation of non-conformances, deviations, and out-of-specification (OOS) results.Ensure all QC activities are compliant with ISO, BIS, FDA, and GMP guidelines specific to cosmetics and personal care.Adhere to hygiene, safety, and quality standards of the laboratory and production areas.Test and qualify raw material samples from new suppliers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, or related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in QC, preferably in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industry.
- Knowledge of cosmetic regulations (BIS, ISO 22716, FDA guidelines) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GMP and GLP.
- Attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
