Curriculum and Teaching:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans inspired by Finnish pedagogy.
- Integrate play-based and experiential learning activities into daily teaching.
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among children.
- Monitor and assess each child’s progress and development.
Classroom Management:
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Manage day-to-day classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and routines.
Parental Engagement:
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and provide insights into the child’s learning journey.
School Community:
- Contribute to the planning and execution of school events, celebrations, and field trips.
- Work closely with the Head of School and other staff to uphold the school’s vision and values.
- Actively participate in fostering a sense of community within the school.
Qualifications
- Certification or degree in early childhood education
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in preschool teaching
