About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Drone Pilot to join our growing field operations team. In this role, you will support aerial and interior data capture for construction monitoring, mapping, and survey operations across some of India's top real estate and infrastructure projects. If you have a valid DGCA Remote Pilot License, hands-on drone experience, and a sharp eye for detail — we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Media Capture
- Capture high-quality raw images and videos of active construction sites.
- Ensure framing, lighting, and camera angles meet project documentation standards.
Mapping & Survey
- Plan and execute drone flights for orthomosaic image generation.
- Set and manage key flight parameters including overlap percentage, altitude, and Ground Sampling Distance (GSD).
- Capture Ground Control Points (GCPs) and coordinate with survey teams using DGPS equipment.
Flight Operations
- Conduct automated and manual drone flights safely and in compliance with DGCA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-flight and post-flight checks, maintain accurate flight logs.
- Coordinate with on-site teams to ensure smooth multi-tower/multi-project operations.
Virtual Tour Capture
- Capture 360° interior virtual tours at under-construction sites using specialised equipment.
- Follow the Bandhoo Capture Process to ensure consistent, high-quality documentation.
Requirements
Mandatory
- Valid DGCA Remote Pilot License (Multi-rotor, Small category or above).
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in media capture, aerial mapping, or survey operations.
- Practical working knowledge of DJI drones (Mavic 3 Enterprise or equivalent preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Basic conceptual understanding of photogrammetry and GIS (tool proficiency not required).
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of drones and sensors.
- Comfortable using mobile applications and digital tools for field data capture.
