Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and responsible Fire & Safety Officer to oversee and implement fire prevention, safety compliance, and occupational health & safety practices within the organisation. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to statutory safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor fire and safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and statutory requirements
- Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments
- Monitor fire protection systems, emergency equipment, and safety installations
- Organise fire drills, emergency evacuation training, and safety awareness programmes
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions
- Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies for safety compliance
- Maintain safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across operations
- Provide safety induction and training to employees and contractors
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Additional certification in Fire & Safety / Industrial Safety preferred
- Proven experience in fire and safety supervision or safety officer role
- Knowledge of fire safety standards, emergency response procedures, and safety audits
- Familiarity with statutory safety regulations and compliance requirements

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
