We are looking for a dynamic News Anchor cum Content Writer who can cover news events on-site and create engaging news content from our office. The ideal candidate should have strong on-camera presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to write compelling news articles, scripts, and social media content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover news events, interviews, and breaking stories by visiting locations as needed.
- Present news in an engaging, professional, and confident manner on camera.
- Research, write, and edit news articles, scripts, and social media updates.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing and production teams to create compelling content.
- Conduct interviews with key personalities and report live when required.
- Stay updated on current affairs, especially related to regional and digital news.
- Assist in scripting and voice-over for video content when needed.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and public speaking skills in Bengali and English.
- Experience in news anchoring, reporting, or content writing.
- Ability to write and edit content in Bengali (English is a plus).
- Comfortable in front of the camera with a confident on-screen presence.
- Knowledge of video content creation and digital news trends.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and audience engagement.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to different reporting situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in anchoring, reporting, or news content creation.
- Experience in digital media and online news platforms is a plus.
