Position - Community Mobilizer (MRF)
Job Purpose
To support waste collection operations by coordinating with BMC vehicles, monitoring material collection and segregation activities, engaging with communities and establishments, and ensuring efficient collection of recyclable materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adequate labour deployment on BMC vehicles as per operational requirements.
- Conduct regular visits to BMC vehicles and monitor collection activities.
- Inspect collected materials and ensure proper segregation and quality standards are maintained.
- Prepare and maintain route maps for BMC vehicles to improve collection efficiency.
- Monitor segregation of BMC-collected materials at the centre and ensure adherence to operational guidelines.
- Coordinate with drivers, vehicle staff, and centre teams for smooth collection and transportation activities.
- Maintain daily records of vehicle-wise material collection and related operational data.
- Identify and connect with housing societies, commercial establishments, institutions, and other potential waste generators for dry waste collection.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community stakeholders and collection partners.
- Ensure compliance with BMC guidelines, safety requirements, and company procedures during collection operations.
- Support awareness and engagement initiatives related to waste segregation and recycling.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly activity reports to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or Higher Secondary pass in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in field operations, community engagement, waste management, logistics, or related areas.
- Experience working with local communities, housing societies, or municipal projects will be preferred.
Skills Required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple activities.
- Basic knowledge of waste segregation and recycling practices.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
