Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in incoming, in-process, and final inspection of mechanical components and assemblies. The role requires strong knowledge of engineering drawings, measuring instruments, GD&T, and quality documentation to ensure products meet customer and company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components and assemblies.
- Inspect products as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other inspection equipment.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and NCR documentation.
- Identify quality issues, defects, and non-conformities, and support corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Quality teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality procedures.
- Support supplier quality inspections, audits, FAT inspections, and dispatch clearance.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional inspection.
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good documentation and reporting abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in machine manufacturing, fabrication, precision engineering, heavy engineering, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
