Technical Skills Required:
✔ Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query (M).
✔ Hands-on experience in SQL Server and dimensional data modeling.
✔ Strong knowledge of the Azure ecosystem, including:
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure SQL Database
Azure Data Lake
✔ Experience with Databricks, APIs, SharePoint, and cloud data sources.
✔ Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics (preferred).
✔ Familiarity with Tableau or Looker is an added advantage.
✔ Experience with Power BI Embedded and JavaScript SDK.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Design, develop, and publish interactive Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and paginated reports.
✔ Build optimized data models using DAX and Power Query (M).
✔ Apply strong UX/UI principles for effective dashboard design,
accessibility, and storytelling.
✔ Integrate Power BI with enterprise systems including Azure Synapse,
Databricks, SQL Server, APIs, SharePoint, and cloud storage.
✔ Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) for
secure reporting.
✔ Optimize report performance using aggregations, query folding, and
DirectQuery strategies.
✔ Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure high-quality curated
datasets.
✔ Manage workspace governance, deployment pipelines, and report
lifecycle.
✔ Enable self-service analytics and support business users.
✔ Ensure compliance with enterprise governance and regulated reporting
standards.
Required Profile
✔ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field.
✔ 5+ years of professional experience in Power BI development.
✔ Strong stakeholder communication and requirements gathering skills.
✔ Experience in regulated industries such as MedTech, Pharma, Healthcare,
or Manufacturing (preferred).
✔ Exposure to KPI reporting across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, or
Compliance.
✔ Microsoft PL-300 Certification preferred.
