Immediate Hiring – SOX & Internal Controls Consultant
Location: Delhi/NCR
Role: Contractual – 3 Months
Compensation: ₹30,000–₹40,000 per month

We are looking for a SOX & Internal Controls professional with strong hands-on experience in SOX testing and internal control assessment to join our consulting team for a 3-month contractual engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform SOX testing for business and IT-related controls.
- Execute Design Effectiveness (DE) and Operating Effectiveness (OE) testing.
- Review and assess Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
- Prepare and review Risk & Control Matrices (RCMs) and process documentation.
- Conduct walkthroughs with process owners and document control understanding.
- Identify control deficiencies, exceptions, and control gaps.
- Prepare detailed SOX testing workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with client stakeholders for evidence collection and resolution of exceptions.
- Support remediation and closure of identified control gaps.
Candidate Profile
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in SOX, Internal Audit, IFC, ICFR, Risk & Controls, or similar areas.
- Strong hands-on experience in SOX testing.
- Good understanding of internal controls and financial processes.
- Experience in RCM preparation, walkthroughs, DE/OE testing and workpaper documentation.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Big 4 / consulting firms will be preferred.
- CA Inter / CIA / ACCA / MBA Finance or relevant professional qualification will be an advantage.
