Key Responsibilities:
- Receive paints, thinners, solvents, raw materials, and other products from suppliers.
- Check quantity, product name, batch number, manufacturing/expiry dates, and physical condition of incoming material.
- Maintain proper stock records and update inventory in ERP/software or registers.
- Arrange materials systematically according to product, batch, size, and category.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Prepare materials for dispatch according to sales orders, invoices, or delivery instructions.
- Coordinate with sales, purchase, accounts, and transport teams for smooth dispatch and delivery.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and investigate shortages, excesses, leakage, or damage.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of flammable paints, solvents, and chemicals.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, ventilation, fire-safety equipment, and proper stacking.
- Monitor damaged, leaking, expired, or slow-moving stock and report it to management.
- Maintain records of inward, outward, stock transfers, returns, and damaged goods.
- Supervise loading and unloading activities and ensure goods are packed and handled safely.
- Minimize product damage, leakage, and wastage.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and warehouse reports for management.
Skills Required:
- Warehouse and inventory management
- Basic computer knowledge, especially Excel/ERP
- Knowledge of stock reconciliation and documentation
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to supervise loading/unloading staff
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Experience in a paint, chemical, hardware, or FMCG warehouse is an advantage.
Pay: Up to ₹38,000.00 per month
