Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET)
Experience: 4 to 8 Years
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete QA lifecycle from requirement analysis to production release.
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
- Perform Manual, Automation, API, Database, Performance, and Security testing.
- Build automated test suites for UI, APIs, and end-to-end workflows.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams.
- Analyze production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
- Ensure release quality, performance, and reliability.
Must-Have Skills
- 4+ years in QA with strong Automation expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright , Selenium, or Cypress.
- Strong API Testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, Swagger.
- Database Testing using SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python.
- CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Performance Testing using JMeter or k6.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of test strategy, test design, and defect management.
Preferred
- SaaS product experience.
- Exposure to AWS/GCP environments.
- Experience testing AI/Analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Security Testing and Accessibility Testing.
Ideal Candidate
Someone who can:
- Write code and automate independently.
- Test frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and integrations.
- Build QA processes from scratch.
- Act as the sole quality owner for a product team.
- Reduce manual effort through automation and improve release confidence.
This profile will give Convosight a true quality owner rather than someone who only executes test cases. A strong SDET with Playwright, API, Database, CI/CD, and Performance Testing experience would be the best fit.
Pay: ₹1,230,703.61 - ₹1,819,455.65 per year
