Assistant Manager – Bid Management

About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Bid Management to lead our end-to-end bid and tendermanagement function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant opportunities,coordinating bid submissions, managing documentation, ensuring compliance, and working closelywith business, legal, finance, product, and leadership teams to deliver high-quality proposals.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong project management skills, and the ability tomanage multiple high-value opportunities simultaneously while meeting strict submission timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Bid & Tender Management
- Track and identify relevant RFPs, RFIs, EOIs, tenders, and procurement opportunities across government and private sector portals.
- Evaluate bid eligibility, commercial viability, and strategic fit.
- Own the complete bid lifecycle—from opportunity identification to final submission.
- Prepare, review, and submit technical and commercial proposals within defined timelines.
- Ensure complete compliance with tender requirements, eligibility criteria, and submission guidelines.
- Maintain a repository of standard bid documents, certifications, templates, and company credentials.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Business, Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams to gather required inputs.
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Manage bid calendars, internal review cycles, and submission milestones.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare compliance matrices and bid checklists.
- Maintain updated company registrations, certifications, declarations, and statutory documents.
- Coordinate with legal and finance teams for contracts, bank guarantees, EMDs, affidavits, andother bid-related documentation.
Vendor & Commercial Management
- Liaise with OEMs, partners, consortium members, and vendors for quotations and supporting documentation.
- Support commercial negotiations and pricing discussions.
- Coordinate post-award documentation until project handover.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Maintain a centralized tracker of all bid opportunities, submissions, outcomes, and key metrics.
- Analyze win/loss trends and recommend process improvements.
- Build and improve internal bid management processes, templates, and documentationstandards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, Management, or arelated discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Bid Management, Tender Management, Procurement, ProposalManagement, or Commercial Operations.
- Experience handling government and enterprise tenders is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with GeM, CPP Portal, state procurement portals, or enterprise procurementplatforms is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of RFP, RFI, RFQ, EOI, and tender processes.
- Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written communication and documentation abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple concurrent submissions.
- Commercial acumen and analytical thinking.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in technology, SaaS, AI, IT services, consulting, or system integration organizations.
- Exposure to government procurement frameworks and enterprise procurement processes.
- Experience coordinating large, cross-functional proposal submissions.

Pay: ₹53,000.00 - ₹58,000.00 per month
