About the Company
Onwords Automation Private Limited is a growing company specializing in Gate Automation and Smart Home solutions. We are looking for skilled and hardworking Welders to join our field installation team in Coimbatore.
Job Summary
We are looking for a Welder who can perform welding, fabrication, installation, and modification work related to automated gates and gate structures at customer locations. The role involves regular field visits and working at different project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG/ARC welding and fabrication work for gates, frames, brackets, supports, and related structures.
- Carry out welding and fabrication work according to measurements, drawings, and site requirements.
- Install and modify gate structures and automation-related components at customer locations.
- Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, and other basic fabrication activities.
- Ensure proper alignment, strength, finishing, and quality of welded structures.
- Travel to different customer/project locations for installation and service work.
- Identify and rectify welding or fabrication-related issues at the site.
- Handle welding machines, cutting tools, grinders, drilling machines, and other workshop/field equipment safely.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines while working at customer sites.
- Coordinate with the installation and technical team to complete projects on time.
- Maintain tools and equipment properly and report any damage or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a professional attitude while interacting with customers and site personnel.
Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator is preferred.
- Knowledge of ARC/MIG welding and basic fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and understand basic measurements and fabrication drawings.
- Good knowledge of welding tools, machines, and safety practices.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor/site conditions.
- Willingness to travel regularly for field work.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned work within deadlines.
- Freshers with basic welding/fabrication skills may also be considered.
