Job Title: Helper – Fabrication, Assembly & Machine Shop
Job Summary:
The Helper assists skilled workers in fabrication, assembly, and machine shop operations by performing basic tasks such as material handling, cleaning, and supporting production activities. This role ensures smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
- Support fabrication and assembly processes by providing tools and materials.
- Clean and maintain work areas, machines, and equipment.
- Help in positioning and holding parts during welding, cutting, or machining.
- Perform basic measurements and mark materials as instructed.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 8th/10th grade education.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication and machine shop tools (preferred).
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
- Physically fit to handle manual tasks.
- Strong attention to safety and cleanliness.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Comfortable working in noisy, dusty, or hot environments.
