RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

Work as part of a team to build React Native iOS / Android applications

Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms while keeping or improving the app performance.

Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.

Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.

Work with native modules when required.

Write high-quality code following best practices and standards for coding, compliance, security, and performance

Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.

Use additional libraries such as Redux to manage the application’s state, derive computed data from the state of the system, and make asynchronous API calls

Assist with building estimates.

Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores.

Improve product quality through code reviews, writing effective unit tests, and collaborating with QA to implement automation testing where appropriate

CORE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Extensive background in JavaScript / Typescript

Professional experience developing production-ready mobile apps with React Native

Knowledge of functional programming

Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts

Understanding of mobile app design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differences

Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle

Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage

An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them.

Use of Native Modules and Native UI components from both IOS and Android

Ability to architect, build and maintain React Native applications with clean code
