A Senior Civil Engineer with coordination responsibilities leads the planning and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects while acting as the central liaison between architects, contractors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams. They ensure seamless project integration, maintain quality and safety standards, and resolve on-site technical conflicts.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Multidisciplinary Alignment: Coordinate civil designs (such as grading, road networks, and utility alignments) with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) disciplines.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for external clients, subcontractors, regulatory bodies, and local municipal authorities to ensure full project compliance.
- Meeting Facilitation: Lead regular design-review and progress meetings to identify and resolve interdisciplinary clashes or scope gaps.
Project & Construction Management:
- Schedule & Budget Tracking: Develop project schedules, oversee material estimates, and coordinate daily site activities to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Site Supervision: Monitor construction progress, ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, and troubleshoot real-time technical issues.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Coordinate QA/QC processes and safety inspections to enforce compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and site protocols.
Technical & Design Leadership:
- Design Oversight: Review and validate complex engineering deliverables, detailed drawings, and topographical/geotechnical surveys.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineering staff.
Core Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with typically 8 to10 years of progressive experience.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in standard industry software such as AutoCAD, or coordination tools.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills to navigate complex, fast-paced construction environments.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
