Job Description
Rohan Corporation is looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman – Civil to prepare detailed technical drawings and construction layouts for residential and commercial projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of civil drafting, construction drawings, and AutoCAD software. Responsibilities typically include preparing civil and structural drawings, coordinating with engineers, and maintaining drawing accuracy and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D civil drawings, layouts, and construction plans using AutoCAD.
- Develop and revise architectural, structural, and site layout drawings.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers.
- Update drawings as per site requirements and project changes.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and construction standards.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and drawing-related project documentation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D.
- Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of construction methods and engineering standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in residential or commercial construction projects preferred.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / BE in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, or other drafting software is an added advantage.
