Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and diagrams
- Fit, assemble, and install mechanical components and equipment
- Perform drilling, cutting, grinding, and shaping of materials
- Use tools like lathe machines, hand tools, measuring instruments
- Carry out maintenance and repair work of machines
- Ensure proper alignment and fitting of parts
- Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality
- Follow safety standards and workplace procedures
Skills Required
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and tools
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Basic knowledge of measurement tools (vernier caliper, micrometer)
- Problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
Qualification
- ITI Certificate in Fitter Trade
- Freshers or experienced candidates can apply
Experience
- 0–2 years (Fresher can also apply)
- Experience in workshop or manufacturing unit is a plus
Work Environment
- Factory / Workshop / Industrial setting
- May require standing for long hours
- Shift duty may be required
Salary (India Approx.)
- Fresher: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000/month
- Experienced: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000/month (depends on skill & company)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
