SHOEGR is a fast-growing footwear care and sneaker maintenance brand. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement & Inventory Executive to manage purchasing, supplier relationships, and inventory planning to ensure smooth business operations and product availability.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) with suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit periods, lead times, and MOQs.
- Follow up on production, dispatch, and delivery schedules.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.
- Compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, and lead time.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and prepare reorder plans.
- Ensure optimum stock levels to prevent stock-outs and overstocking.
- Analyze inventory movement and demand trends.
- Track slow-moving and aging inventory.
- Coordinate stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with Warehouse, Sales, Marketplace, Operations, and Accounts teams.
- Coordinate supplier payments with the Accounts department.
- Maintain accurate procurement, supplier, and inventory records.
- Generate reports on inventory status, procurement activities, and supplier performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting).
- Experience with ERP or inventory management software is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- E-commerce, D2C, Retail, FMCG, or Consumer Products industry.
- Managing inventory for online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, or Shopify.
Key Success Metrics
- Stock availability and inventory accuracy.
- Reduction in stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Supplier performance and on-time deliveries.
- Procurement cost optimization.
