Hiring :Freelance Interior Designer | Remote**

Architecture background: Good to have, not mandatory**
Kalavya Atelier is looking for creative, ownership-driven freelance Interior Designers who can handle **end-to-end residential/commercial design work remotely**.
This role is not limited to one specific skill such as only 2D, only 3D, only moodboards, or only drafting. We are looking for someone who can think, design, present, coordinate, and take ownership until the **final design closure**.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Understand client requirements, lifestyle, taste, budget, space usage, and project goals
* Take complete design ownership from concept to final design
* Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, zoning, circulation, and functional design
* Create moodboards, design concepts, themes, colour palettes, material direction, and styling ideas
* Develop detailed design presentations for client approvals
* Prepare 2D layouts, working drawings, furniture details, false ceiling concepts, electrical layouts, lighting plans, wall elevations, and material specifications
* Coordinate with internal team, vendors, execution team, and clients whenever required
* Support BOQ/design estimate discussions where needed
* Suggest materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, décor, soft furnishings, and styling elements
* Present ideas confidently and help in closing design decisions with clients
* Handle client revisions professionally while protecting design quality
* Ensure designs are practical, premium, executable, and aligned with Kalavya Atelier’s brand vision
* Support client-facing design calls and help convert potential leads into design closures
Who Can Apply:
* Interior designers, architects, design students, freshers, experienced professionals, or freelancers
* Architecture background is a plus, but not compulsory
* Any experience level is welcome if your portfolio shows creativity and design thinking
* Must have strong ownership, creativity, presentation sense, and deal-closing confidence
* Must be comfortable working independently and remotely
Engagement Type: Freelance / Project-based
Payout: Based on project value and scope of work
Hiring Process:
1 interview followed by 1 design assignment.
