About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development & Merchant Acquisition Manager to lead merchant acquisition and build partnerships team across Kolkata. You will play a key role in launching and growing our hyperlocal shopping and lifestyle marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchant acquisition strategies.
- Onboard retail stores, restaurants, salons, hotels, and service providers.
- Build and manage business partnerships.
- Lead and support the merchant acquisition team.
- Negotiate commercial agreements.
- Achieve monthly onboarding targets.
- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, or Partnerships, and merchant acquisition.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in merchant acquisition, retail, e-commerce, food delivery, or marketplace businesses is preferred.
- Fluent in English and Bengali (Hindi is an advantage).
