Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Field Sales Executive to join our shipping line team. You will drive revenue by securing new clients, managing existing accounts, and conducting face-to-face field sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Conduct daily field visits to acquire new importers, exporters and freight forwarders.
- Client Meetings: Meet prospects to understand cargo requirements and present shipping solutions.
- Rate Negotiation: Provide freight quotes (LCL/FCL), negotiate shipping rates, and close sales.
- Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to secure repeat bookings.
- Internal Coordination: Work with operations and customer service to ensure smooth cargo booking.
- Reporting: Track daily sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends in the CRM.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Graduate (Bachelor’s degree in any stream).
- Experience: 1–2 years of field sales experience specifically within a shipping line or logistics company.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong negotiation skills, and a confident personality.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of maritime terminology, trade lanes, and Incoterms.
- Travel: Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory for client meetings.
