Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and professionals with up to 3 years of experience who are passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). The candidate will work closely with development and operations teams to support, automate, and optimize application deployments on AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying and managing applications on AWS.
- Support the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Learn and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications using Amazon CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
- Assist in managing AWS resources such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Load Balancers.
- Support Docker container creation and deployment.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Follow cloud security and operational best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch).
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Understanding of Git and version control.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
- Familiarity with Docker containers.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Bash or Python.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes (EKS is a plus).
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications and internship experience will be an added advantage.
