Job Title: CAD Designer
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
* Create 2D and 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and product assemblies.
* Develop manufacturing drawings with GD&T, dimensions, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
* Design and develop enclosures for IoT devices, wearables, and electronic products, considering functionality, manufacturability, and aesthetics.
* Modify existing designs based on engineering feedback.
* Coordinate with hardware, mechanical, and production teams during product development.
* Prepare documentation for prototyping and mass production.
* Ensure designs comply with industry standards and manufacturing requirements.
* Operate and manage 3D printing machines for rapid prototyping, including print preparation, machine setup, monitoring, and post-processing of printed parts.
* Support prototype testing, evaluate printed prototypes, and implement design improvements based on testing results.
* Work closely with the electronics and firmware teams to ensure seamless mechanical integration of PCBs, sensors, batteries, antennas, and other components.
Requirements
* Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* 1–3 years of experience in CAD design and product development.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or Creo.
* Hands-on experience operating and maintaining 3D printing machines (FDM/SLA or similar).
* Experience in designing enclosures for electronic products, IoT devices, or consumer products is preferred.
* Good understanding of sheet metal, plastic injection molding, CNC machining, and manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of tolerance analysis, engineering drawings, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional product development environment.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
