Salary Range: 60,000/- TO 70,000/-
Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations in the assigned region for the furniture industry. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, dealer/distributor management, institutional sales, market expansion, team leadership, and achieving regional business targets.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in furniture, office seating, modular furniture, interior products, or related manufacturing industries.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Drive sales growth through dealer networks, distributors, architects, corporates, and institutional clients.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand business presence across the region.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Dealer & Channel Management
- Appoint, manage, and support dealers/distributors within the assigned territory.
- Build strong relationships with channel partners for long-term business growth.
- Monitor dealer performance, stock movement, and payment cycles.
- Conduct dealer meetings, training sessions, and promotional activities.
Institutional & Project Sales
- Handle corporate, government, educational, hospitality, and commercial furniture projects.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, procurement teams, and project consultants.
- Ensure timely submission of quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and regional sales teams.
- Set sales targets and monitor team performance regularly.
- Conduct market visits and provide on-ground sales support.
- Train the team on products, customer handling, and sales techniques.
Market Intelligence
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Share market feedback with management for product improvement and strategic planning.
- Track regional demand and customer preferences.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and institutional customers.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and timely resolution of complaints.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and customer service teams for smooth order execution.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare sales forecasts, market reports, and business performance analysis.
- Maintain accurate sales records and CRM updates.
- Present regional performance reports to senior management.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of furniture industry sales and distribution network.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Experience in B2B, channel sales, and institutional/project sales.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
