Job Title: Senior Agriculture Advisor (Sr. Agri Advisor) Job Summary
The Senior Agriculture Advisor is responsible for providing expert guidance to farmers on crop management, pest control, soil health, and modern agricultural practices. This role also supports product promotion and works closely with the sales team to improve farmer productivity and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide crop-specific advisory (Cotton, Soybean, Vegetables, etc.)
- Guide farmers on fertilizers, pesticides, and seed selection
- Identify crop diseases and pest issues with proper solutions
- Conduct field visits and on-site farmer support
- Organize farmer meetings, demos, and training sessions
- Coordinate with the sales team for product promotion
- Track market trends and provide seasonal planning advice
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of agriculture and crop management
- Good communication skills (English, Hindi, Marathi preferred)
- Problem-solving skills for pest and disease management
- Ability to handle fieldwork and farmer interactions
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Agriculture / Diploma in Agriculture or related field
Experience
- 1–3 years of relevant field experience (preferred for senior role)
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
