- We are looking for a dynamic and client-focused Wealth Manager / Portfolio Manager to manage and grow client investment portfolios across SIPs, equities, and trading products. The role involves providing financial advisory, executing trades, and building long-term client relationships to achieve revenue and portfolio growth targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CLIENT ACQUISITION & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Acquire new HNI / Retail clients for investment products.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Understand client financial goals, risk appetite, and investment horizon.
PORTFOLIO ADVISORY & MANAGEMENT
- Design and manage diversified portfolios across: Equities (cash & derivatives), SIP investments (Mutual Funds), Trading strategies (intraday, delivery, F&O)
- Provide periodic portfolio reviews and rebalancing strategies.
- Track market movements and align portfolios accordingly.
INVESTMENT ADVISORY
- Recommend suitable SIP plans and mutual fund schemes.
- Provide actionable insights on equity markets and stock recommendations.
- Guide clients on trading opportunities based on technical/fundamental analysis.
REVENUE GENERATION
- Achieve brokerage, AUM, and revenue targets. Cross-sell financial products like: Mutual Funds, Insurance, Bonds / PMS / Structured Products, Drive SIP book growth and trading volumes.
MARKET RESEARCH & ANALYSIS
- Stay updated with market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes.
- Conduct technical and/or fundamental analysis of stocks.
- Share insights, reports, and investment ideas with clients.
COMPLIANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT
- Ensure all advisory and transactions comply with regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation and client records.
- Adhere to internal risk policies and KYC norms.

- Knowledge of trading platforms (e.g., Zerodha, Angel One, ICICI Direct, etc.) will be a plus. Strong understanding of: Technical Analysis (charts, indicators), Fundamental Analysis (financial statements, ratios)
- MS Excel / Financial modeling basics
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS
- Strong communication & persuasion skills
- Analytical and decision-making ability
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field. Certifications preferred though not mandatory. NISM Series (Equity, Derivatives, Mutual Funds), CFP / CFA (optional but preferred)

- Assets Under Management (AUM) growth
- SIP book size and monthly inflows
- Brokerage revenue and trading volumes
- Client acquisition & retention rate
- Portfolio performance vs benchmarks
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience in brokerage firms, wealth management firms, or NBFCs
- Existing client base (added advantage)
- Strong understanding of Indian financial markets
