Job Summary
Lere Academy is looking for a creative and skilled Freelance Video Editor based in Kerala to join our content team. The ideal candidate should have strong video editing skills and the ability to create engaging, high-quality content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
This is a great opportunity for a creative video editor who can work independently, understand social media trends, and deliver projects within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos, Reels, YouTube videos, promotional videos, and advertisements.
- Create engaging and visually appealing social media content.
- Add transitions, captions, subtitles, animations, sound effects, and background music.
- Edit videos according to brand guidelines and content requirements.
- Create engaging hooks and visually attractive edits suitable for social media.
- Work on both short-form and long-form video content.
- Collaborate with the content, marketing, and creative teams when required.
- Make revisions based on feedback and deliver final videos on time.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, Reels formats, transitions, and social media content styles.
Requirements
- Candidates must be based in Kerala.
- Previous experience as a Video Editor is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media formats.
- Creative mindset with good attention to detail.
- Ability to understand briefs and follow brand guidelines.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A strong portfolio/showreel is required.
