Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to drive business growth in Freight Forwarding services. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets for Air Freight, Sea Freight, Customs Clearance, Transportation, and Warehousing services.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and acquire new customers for freight forwarding and logistics services.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, and traders.
Understand customer logistics requirements and provide customized solutions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales & Revenue Generation
Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and rate negotiations.
Coordinate with operations and pricing teams for competitive freight solutions.
Cross-sell and upsell logistics services.
Market Intelligence
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
Identify new business opportunities in target industries.
Maintain updated knowledge of shipping lines, airlines, and trade lanes.
Coordination
Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Documentation teams.
Ensure smooth execution of shipments and timely resolution of customer issues.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), Import & Export Operations.
Knowledge of Customs Clearance and Logistics Services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong customer relationship management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
