Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Worker/Helper to join our team at a leading fasteners manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will assist in various stages of the manufacturing process, including the construction, maintenance, and expansion projects within the plant. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure efficient operations and the well-being of all team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of plant infrastructure, including buildings, machinery foundations, and storage facilities.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment within the plant premises.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as machinery, under supervision and following all safety guidelines.
- Support the assembly and disassembly of machinery and equipment for maintenance or relocation purposes.
- Participate in the installation of fastener manufacturing equipment and assist in the calibration and setup for production runs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs to keep tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training sessions.
- Report any issues, malfunctions, or hazards observed during daily tasks to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and machinery.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety standards and protocols.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
- Flexibility to work in different shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
