We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Rural Sales Manager to lead and expand our rural market sales operations. The candidate will be responsible for developing rural sales strategies, managing dealer networks, generating leads, increasing market penetration, and achieving sales targets in assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute rural sales plans to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Identify new business opportunities in rural and semi-urban markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, local influencers, financiers, and channel partners.
- Appoint and manage rural sales agents, brokers, and field executives.
- Conduct village-level promotional activities, roadshows, and customer engagement programs.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Ensure timely reporting of sales activities and market feedback.
- Coordinate with finance and service teams for smooth customer experience.
- Train and motivate the sales team to improve performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in automobile sales, FMCG, or rural sales management.
- Strong knowledge of rural markets and customer behavior.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territories.
- Leadership and team management capability.
- Valid driving license preferred.
