Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, and budgeting activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting standards, and the ability to ensure accurate financial records while supporting the company's financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and financial regulations.
- Verify invoices, expense claims, and payment vouchers.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
- Assist management in cost control and financial planning initiatives.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, and government authorities regarding financial matters.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial records and company information.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
- Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel (Advanced), and accounting software.
- Knowledge of ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Educational Qualification
- MBA (Finance) – Mandatory
- Additional certifications in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance will be preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
