We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager / Sourcing Agent for our US based luxury clothing brand. This role requires someone who can independently research and connect with factories, visit manufacturing units, negotiate with vendors, and manage communication between factories and management.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of fabrics, garment production, factory processes, and vendor management. Working experience with women’s western wear / occasion wear sourcing, compliances, approvals, or related backgrounds will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify reliable garment factories across India
- Visit factories for audits, sampling, production checks, and relationship building
- Call and coordinate with factories on daily basis
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, timelines, and production terms
- Source fabrics, trims, and materials as per brand requirements
- Manage communication between factory teams and management
- Ensure quality standards, deadlines, and smooth production flow
- Handle vendor documentation and compliance processes
- Build long-term relationships with manufacturers and suppliers
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience in garment sourcing / apparel production
- Strong fabric knowledge (woven, knit, blends, GSM, finishes, etc.)
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel for factory visits
- Knowledge of Indian manufacturing market
- Vendor management and follow-up skills
- Government background / compliance experience preferred
Preferred Experience:
- 2+ years in sourcing, merchandising, production, or factory coordination
- Experience with clothing / fashion brands preferred
- Strong preference for candidates with women’s western wear / occasion wear sourcing experience
- Hands-on experience sourcing fabrics and factories for dresses, gowns, partywear, bridesmaid, or occasion wear categories preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
