- A Supply Chain Executive manages the end-to-end flow of goods, information, and finances, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory control, and timely distribution. They coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to minimize disruptions, optimize stock levels, and prepare performance reports.
- Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & Logistics: Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and oversee logistics, including shipment tracking and warehousing.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and agents for timely procurement, material scheduling, and documentation.
- Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, forecast demand, and recommend improvements.
- Operational Support: Process orders, manage purchase orders (POs), and resolve shipping/warehouse disputes.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations, and prepare regular performance reports on KPIs.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze supply chain data for informed decisions.Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams (sales, finance) and external vendors.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving logistical bottlenecks.
- Experience: A degree in logistics or related field is often preferred, along with experience in SCM operations
