Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete purchasing and procurement process.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
- Source quality products and services at competitive prices.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new vendor networks.
- Track inventory levels and coordinate purchases as per business requirements.
- Compare quotations, negotiate contracts, and achieve cost savings.
- Ensure procurement complies with company policies and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements.
- Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing/procurement.
- Good knowledge of vendor management and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software for purchase management is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement activities efficiently.
