Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining long-term relationships. The ideal candidate should have experience in corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, product launches, luxury weddings, brand activations, and social events.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and client meetings.
- Identify opportunities in corporate events, weddings, exhibitions, conferences, product launches, award ceremonies, and brand activations.
- Meet potential clients to understand their event requirements and objectives.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, quotations, and pitch decks.
- Coordinate with the creative and operations teams to develop customized event concepts.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals while ensuring profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, hotels, venues, and vendors.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM.
- Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry conferences.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in business development, preferably in an event management company.
- Strong network within the corporate and events industry is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
