Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols.
- Supervise laboratory technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting of laboratory results.
- Conduct quality control procedures and maintain quality assurance standards.
- Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents and coordinate replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with NABH, hospital, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation, records, and laboratory reports.
- Assist pathologists and clinicians with diagnostic requirements when necessary.
- Adhere to infection control, biosafety, and workplace safety protocols.
- Participate in staff training and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc. MLT / DMLT; M.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology preferred.
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, with supervisory experience preferred.
